the About us
Windsor Park Equestrian Club
was formed in 1970 at the behest of the late HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
The first competitions were held in 1971 and consisted of showjumping, ridden dressage and competitive carriage driving.
We run ridden dressage and carriagedriving competitions throughout each summer, unfortunately due to a number of factors, Showjumping was stopped in the early 2000’s.
In 2019 we moved from our previous ground on Smith Lawn to our current location based in the grounds of the Deer Park, Windsor Great Park by kind permission of the late Her Majesty The Queen.
The venue is unique and uniquely beautiful. Dogs (on leads) and children (and adults) are all welcome to watch the competition and new helpers are always welcome.
